gEdit Screenshots

gEdit runs as a dialog-only application. All interaction with the program take place through the primary [dialog] window. The left side of the dialog deals with choosing points for inclusion in a group. The right side deals with the group content itself, as well as saving and loading group files to/from disk.

gEdit allows you to select more than one point at a time for transfer to the opposing list. The multiple point selection mechanism is a standard Windows procedure, consult your Windows documentation for detailed instructions.

Lose changes prompt

The 'Lose changes prompt' is displayed when you initiate an action that may cause the loss of any changes you have may to the currently display point group. Closing the program and opening a new group file will both cause this prompt to appear if your group contains unsaved changes.

Windows 2000 File Open Dialog

gEdit uses the host operating system's standard "Open" and "Save As" dialogs for interacting with the file system. The example above was generated on one of EVI's development systems. Whatever features the host OS offers within those dialogs should be available.
