PICS Recall Display (redisp)
This is one of the most commonly used end-user applications in the PICS suite. It provides both alphanumeric displays and graphic trending of real time and historical data.
Special Keys
There are a few special key combinations that ReDisp understands that are not available on the menus.
- Ctrl+B will toggle between Bad:Gap and Bad:Plot. Bad:Gap means that data received that is marked as bad will result in a gap in strip graps. Bad:Plot will typically result in a flat line on a strip graph.
- Ctrl+F puts ReDisp into FullScreen mode. This mode places the title, menu and window frame off the edges of the display. To return from this point, press the Escape key.
- F5 will refresh the display
- F7 will attempt to start a backfill for a strip graph. This is dependent on two external things: there must be a backfill server (DARS) available and backfill must not be DISABLED.
- Esc returns from FullScreen mode to normal windowed mode.
